Nano Dimensions acquires Essemtec

Nano Dimensions, which specializes in additive PCB manufacturing technology, is gaining an important foothold in the market of assembly machines, dosing devices, and storage systems.

The Nasdaq-listed Nano Dimension Ltd. acquires the Lucerne-based Essemtec Group. The Essemtec Group has subsidiaries in the USA, France, and Germany and employs approximately 100 people. With the acquisition, Nano Dimension, now an industry leader in additively manufactured electronics (AME), acquires important know-how in the dispensing and assembly of electronic components. The offer of both companies complements perfectly and the plant in Aesch (LU) is not only to continue operations but is even to be expanded.

Essemtec is one of the leading companies in the P&P SMT machine markets, advanced dosing machines for both high-speed dosing and micro jetting, and intelligent material storage and production logistics systems. The devices are equipped with an advanced software package that enables comprehensive and effective material management.
